I had my first biopsy today.
I'm wondering if I should sleep with my bra on since i have large breasts to eliminate any unecessary pulling?
I am very uncomfortable with it on....as because I have big breasts, I have big wires that are uncomfortable.
I found it better without a bra using pillow for comfort as needed and I'm a ff cup. If you feel better with it on then go for it. It's all about what's best for you, but I would either get a bra without wires or remove them from one of the more comfy ones you have. Hope all goes well.
Hi FlowerPower....I never heard of an FF cup LOL.....I think you are trying to tell me that you have big boobs too? LOL.
Thank you for answering...I started to fall asleep with the BRA ON...and it was super uncomfortable...so I said forget ths...and took it off...and it acutally was more comfortable without it.
Figures it is the breast of the side I usually sleep on...but actually it felt better to sleep ON it than to face the other way because when I was facing the other way it was pulling.
I'm doing the ice as instructed..I think ICE is so so important to recovery time and healing.
Thinking ahead underwired bras can sometimes be impractical if you have surgery. I could wear my underwired after surgery as wires away from scar. I used bra extender to give more band width. At night I used the stretchy step into bras just yo stop the girls moving too much. I'm also large breasted UK G cup.
WOW Carol G cup...I'm a D (US) ..and I thought I was big,
I actually wanted a reduction when I was younger because I was getting too much attention regarding the big boobs.
I would be devestated for a masectomy thou because these boobs have basically defined my feminity my entire life.
Anyone would be devestated...I get that....I just never thought BREAST cancer would be something I would have to worry about ....only one family member (distant) had breast cancer...most of my family died from Dementia or Colon Cancer.
I started having Colonoscopies at 35 because I convinced my Gastro that it was so prevelant in my family I did not want to wait until I was 40....
He got me in and FOUND pre-cancer polyps...So he said too....good thing we did it because by the time I was 40 it would have been too late.
