Hi my lumpectomy and axillary nodes clearance is due in four weeks.. I still did not had any call for my pic line removal.. I will call my oncologist again Monday to ask..I already called his secretary to make an appointment but no reply yet…. please anyone can suggest if they had kept their pic line or removed.. I had picc line fitted because of my chemotherapy which has finished last week after 6 months of treatment. Please guide me…

Forgot to mention, my picc line has been fitted on my right arm and lumpectomy and clearance is on right side too. My picc line is quite high as near to armpit. Also after surgery and radiotherapy 
needed my 3 weekly Herceptin for almost 8-9 months. I already had 4 with my paclitexal.. did anyone had a same way treatment like me? Also after surgery and radiotherapy finished can we have picc li back again for Herceptin.. as I found picc line easy way for drugs and had no problem with that so far..at the beginning I used to scared when I was going every week for flushing.. but slowly I gotsed too and found is easier then cannula…also I bought shower protector for arm from Amazon and kept it dry and safe.. so my question is can we have picc line twice, if I get removed for surgery becse of same side…love to you all my lovely friends
