I had a lumpectomy and node clearance and was disappointed afterwards when the surgeon said the margins weren't clear so I would need further surgical 'shaving ' or mastectomy.
She advised chemo first which I'm presently having.
Has anyway had further surgical 'shaving ' and was it successful?
I really don't want a mastectomy.
