Tamoxifen

Hi all,

Been on Tamoxifen for 5 weeks and having really bad aches and pains in my left leg. Feels like a dead weight some days. Had a blood clot ruled out. Also I'm awake on the hour every hour throughout the night.....I'm just exhausted.

I thought the surgeries and radiotherapy would be the hardest, but this is tough

Hello. Have a read of the thread below and also put Tamoxifen in the search bar as there have been a lot of comments on the hormone drugs.

It does depend when you take the drug and the brand also matters. if you are having some nasty side effects try your chemist to change the brand. I found taking it at night better than the morning. It does take a couple of months for your system to get used to it.

Thank you. I didn't realise that there were different brands to take. Will have a look at mine and see what I'm on. I've never had muscle and joint issues like this before. It's even in my hand and wrist x
