Hi everyone, I have joint and muscle pains - probably as a result of my Letrozole.  My Breast Cancer Nurse has suggested that I try Glucosamine and Chrondroitin supplements and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they've tried these and if so whether the side effects of their oestrogen-surpressing medication were reduced? Thank you!

  • I started on that supplement and it has made a difference, though they also told me things would settle down in about 6 months so not sure if it's the supplement or time.

I am still a bit stiff when I get up after sitting or being in bed, but it's not as bad as it was.

Mine always wore off with activity so getting up and moving and not sitting for too long helps too.

My ligaments seem to be more prone to injury / inflammation and although one of my wrists is still very bad, everything else seems more settled sine taking the glucosamine/chondroitin.

I'd give it a go, see if it works for you
