I had covid 2 months ago while on chemo. I’ve had no taste or smell back. Is my chemo working against my taste & smell recovering? Really miss enjoying food & drinks.
Hello JJenn. Your oncologist might be best placed to advise on whether your specific type of chemo might effect covid recovery but a work colleague lost her sense of taste and smell due to covid and a year later it has still not returned so it can take quite some time. Not a good thing to happen but she looked on the positive side and said that it meant that she could now eat hot, spicy food which she couldn't before getting covid! Hope your symptoms subside soon and you can start to enjoy food & drinks again x
