After meeting with the oncologist I have been told I’ll be on TCHP which she said is very intense. Anyone else been on it that can offer any advice?
Hi, yes, I managed through TCHP pretty well and this blog post of mine .Chemo Hints and Tips might help. Good luck x
Hi Claud. Having the chemo isn’t so bad but the side effects can be especially diarrhoea and sickness but they are easily treated. Just be kind to yourself and rest and drinks lots of water, no juices, I’ve already made that mistake. After 6 days I felt normal again until my next cycle.
sending lots of love
I am glad for your update and assurances Twigy. You're really brave to go through past 6 days and taking things in your stride.
Are u using port? Or Picc? Did you take sickness meds?
Oh OK no juice...I guess that encourages diarrhoea! Were u able to eat normally?
C x
Hi Claud I used my picc line which makes it easier. Yes to sickness tablets and take them even if you don’t think you need it. I think the juices were harsh on my tummy and made the sickness worse. ods. Go beige as you may enjoy any strong flavours. You can message me if you want to ask any more x
