Hi all I'm just looking for advice on pain I'm experiencing at the moment. I have right glute pain like a burning sensation which radiates down my thigh a when sat down. This has been going on for 2 weeks and now all of a sudden I have lower back pain to the left hand side and left hand glute pain... I did experience this between May-July this year also. I'm not sure if this related to the tamoxifen I've been taking since January or bone mets... I don't experience pain at night but mainly when sitting
Hi Silverskin I am also on tamoxifen and have recently had some what I think are muscular pains in my lower back and glutes. I think radiating pains means it's travelling along the nerve so more likely to be muscular or a pinched nerve. Like you I often wonder, could it be bone mets and I will raise it with my surgeon when I next see him which is what I think you should do as well.
My pain has slowly improved even though it's still there so I think it's probably just a pulled muscle or something or tamoxifen who knows/
The problem I find is where do you stop? I find myself being over concerned about every ache and pain and wondering whether it's cancer related. But it is best to mention it to someone on your medical team in case it needs investigating.
I'd be interested to know how you get on.
Wishing you all the best with it.
