A question about sex and orgasms with bc.

Random question I know but after looking online, I can´t find any answers.

I have recently been diagnosed with Triple negative bc. As far as I know so far, it´s only located in the lump in my breast (obviously the further tests that I´m having might show otherwise) but my questions is; can having sex and orgasms boost the spread of cancer around your body?

I´m sure that sounds ridiculous and feel free to laugh but at this stage, I´m keen to avoid doing anything that would increase that possibility! However my hb and I would like to be intimate before my chemo starts.

Any ideas?

In a word, no!

Breast cancer is at a cellular level and cannot be altered with external factors like that.

Take advantage of feeling like sex ahead of chemo, we really didn't feel like it once I had started treatment, but some people carry on with no issues.

It definitely does not spread it and feel free to enjoy. Do however read up about not having sex directly after chemo, I think it’s 3 days you can’t have sex, which tells you the state of my sex life .

Thanks! Again this might sound daft but my type of cancer is triple X negative so not a hormone or protein receptor type. Does that make any difference regarding my question?
