Update on scans and wirk

Well so pleased that all scans came back clear so just breast lump only .....chemo starts Wednesday so now another worry being told about side effects I am single mum with mortgage...... as 20 years ago I didn't need insurance on my mortgage cause nothing will happen in future.....how did anyone cope working full time with side effects any tips you can give I  cant afford to take time of work ..its just worry after worry thank you

  • Are you able to work from home? I worked throughout all treatment from home though I did have to take a few days off at the beginning after each chemo cycle. If you can work from home, it can be done.

    If you can't work from home, there is an issue with your immune system being severely weakened (and worst time is actually week 2 when you're starting to feel a bit better), so with covid cases so high, it may be an issue if you need to work beside other people.

    There will hopefully be others replying who have been in that situation.
