Hi everyone, I hope today has been a good day for you all?
so I have just received my appointment for 7th October at the breast clinic to have this lump check out.
I am worried can anybody tell me what a can expect on this first appointment? And if it isn’t cancer, will they maybe be able to know on this appointment? It feels like torcher this wait

Yes they will know and tell you at this appointment if they are worried. They will say something like we are concerned about this lump and will see you again when we have the pathology report.
On the day you will probably have a mammogram of both breasts and a scan and biopsy . It is often the case that your lump is on no concern but they will want to see that on a pathology report so you will probably have to go back at least once. Both mammogram and biopsy are relatively painless X

This is the worst time , if I could go back in time I wouldn't have worried so much as it ruined my summer and although it have had a bilateral mastectomy I'm ok . Yesterday was my worst day as I found out I'm having chemotherapy. However, many do not need chemotherapy and don't race ahead x
