I’m so glad I came on here I’m fatigued a lot and have started to get concerned I’m on exestamane and have now reminded myself this is normal , just gotta manage my expectations better and not expect too much of myself and out unnecessary pressure on myself xx thanks girls xx
I hope you are asleep again but if not.....
The fatigue is such an inexplicable thing isn't it? One moment you are fine and the next....it hits you and if you don't stop and sit, you would probably fall. If you've never experienced it, you have no understanding. Friends told me they get tired....they didn't have a clue!
Sadly, I think almost everyone on this site can empathise with you. My OH and I totally misjudged it. He booked a surprise holiday for me in Italy after radiotherapy and it was a mistake until we adjusted our expectations to allow for the fatigue. We changed all our normal daily plans so I could rest more.
I think you have realised that you too have got to live with the fatigue not fight against it. I did find that gradually over time I had fewer and fewer episodes and one day, I suddenly realised that although I still got tired......the fatigue had gone.
Hope it doesn't go on too long for you and you feel better soon.
Love Karen
I love Italy so hope you were able to enjoy it. I had Radiotherapy in May with no side effects. Now getting lots of niggling breast pains and occasional fatigue and fatigue makes you stop. Luckily not often and assume this is part of the journey. Take care
