I hope this is ok to share as it's really helped me. I was reading through a health magazine a couple of weeks ago and came across some information about an app called Woebot. It's a clinically approved AI talk therapy chat bot that helps to calm you when you're stressed and anxious using CBT.
It's really helped me over the last few weeks and I've just been having a major wobble and it calmed me down very quickly. I just thought I'd share in case it helps anybody else. You can get it on your app store and it's free. Could be worth a try if you're struggling with anxiety.
Hope everyone has a good day today.

on your recommendation, I downloaded this. its like a little friend/robot keeping an eye out for you. plenty topics and help for lots of things and topics too. thanks
You're very welcome! It's very good at calming me down when I'm having a wobble!
Hope all is good with you xx
Plodding on. Only 4 sessions left (out of 15) of radiotherapy. Feel pooped this week. Still have wobble days too xx
Well you've broken the back of the radiotherapy and on the home straight now so a big well done to you! I remember radiotherapy being exhausting. It's not even so much the actual procedure - it's all the travelling time too! I had mine 18 years ago - six weeks of rads every week day and it was knackering!
Clear for 18 years and I was still having the occasional wobble and then a new diagnosis last month! I was just starting to trust my body again!
Oh well - what doesn't kill us makes us stronger huh?
Hope you manage to have a chilled restful weekend with a glass of wine or two! Xx
Yes the treatment is ok, the drive (only30 mins) but the waiting is tiring as they don't run to time. usually anything from 20 mins to 2 hours! Take a book and if its a late one pick up a snack at the M&S at The Christie to keep me going. Nothing worse than a rumbling tum and some days I get home at 7.30pm from a late one. Oh dear re your diagnosis. There's nothing in your profile so don't know anything about you but hopefully a plan is in place. I think that's what I'm worried about. Surgery took the cancer away and radiotherapy to nuke boob but how likely is it to come back? Don't drink but choc is on standby as that's my treat x
Chocolate is good too!
Haven't done my profile yet as I've only recently rejoined. No treatment plan in place yet. CT scan was yesterday and results / treatment plan hopefully next Friday when I meet with the surgeon.
Fingers crossed
You've inspired me to write my profile so I'll do that now! xx
Read your profile. Hope its not too long a wait for results and plan. Good luck x
