Good morning lovely ladies. I hope everyone is doing ok and able to enjoy some sunshine today.
know this is a silly question but I really need to know the answer!
I have my ct of chest, abdomen, pelvis tomorrow. In my generic leaflet it says 'you may be asked to remove jewellery'. I have one piercing, in my ear, that I absolutely can't remove. I've tried and tried. Even hubby has tried, with plyers!!
It's not a normal earing it's a ring and ball, but very small.
My daughter, who has had many chest scans, says she wasn't asked to remove ear piercings but I'm concerned that I'll turn up for the scan and they won't be able to do it.
Can anyone remember whether they kept earings in for this CT?
Thank you
Lorraine
