Struggling trying to loose weight on meds. Any suggestions?
Hi
Sorry no real advice to offer as I think we are all in the 'same boat' with these oestrogen suppressants. I've put on a stone in the last 4 years and I'm sure they make me hungrier. (Anastozole for me).
I have bought myself a rowing machine and I do eat more veg to try and fill myself up, but I can't resist the snacks too. If I gave up the snacks and wasn't so intermittent with my rowing machine, then I'm sure that I'd lose some.
When I thought about it, I looked at post menopausal women (who haven't had BC) and quite often these ladies, even if they are skinny have a stomach, so I think it's just one of the things that we might have to accept unless we do oodles of stomach exercises and tbh, being in a pandemic, not being able to go on holiday etc, I felt I deserved some treats rather than working extra hard on my rowing machine!
Best wishes, Lesley
