If I don’t get my HER2, result soon, I am considering driving over to the cytology lab and stringing the building up with bra bunting! Anyone on here a journalist or press? It will make a story covid delay story!
Hi Greencyclist welcome to the forum. Journalists nor press are not encouraged in here as it can put people off being open and we can usually identify them. However, your post did make me smile and I can imagine that it might make you feel a bit better.
How long have you been waiting for the Her2 results as I think these can take some weeks to come back but not 100% sure on that one.
I’ve got the Her-2 results now and am feeling a bit better. I feel bad, I lost it with other people yesterday.
The bookings clark for MRI scanning got a blunt ear full, she refused to give me an earlier appointment, I had explained that I had surgery booked hours later, being being told it makes no difference.. I asked her “Would you like your tits cut off, without the surgeon seeing the imaging? ” Not the right way of dealing with things but I needed to say it.
My lovely breast consultant phone me later in the day saying we need to get MRI done, explained that I’m booked in right before surgery, He said he would get that changed.. It could have easily been sorted. Seriously it’s below his pay grade.
Yesterday was just frustration after frustration…Counselling waiting list….don’t even get me started
Today is another day.
Sometimes you just need people to listen.
Several rounds of applause from me though for that.
The waiting is the absolute pits. I've been waiting and worrying for weeks for some information to be posted to me... when it comes it will probably be a print out from this website that I could have accessed instantly. Still nothing in today's post. So much unnecessary confusion and worry arises from this stuff. People (clinicians) are wonderful but the systems can be so awful. Almost traumatising.
Hi Greencyclist dont feel bad you made me laugh and I have visions yet of you scaling a building trailing bra bunting behind you. We all have pur own way of delaing with things and I can appreciate that level of frustration and sometimes thats what it takes to get things moving. Glad that you feel better today. xxxxx
Your post is SO funny ! Have sent it to a friend of mine who was enquiring how I'm getting on with my radiotherapy. She will just love it for so many reasons !!!!
Bra bunting, hilarious!! Don’t feel bad, you had just cause to loose it frankly and it doesn’t sound like she was very empathetic, your point to her was perfectly valid! Plus I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s facade cracks occasionally and looses their sh*t! So thanks for that too, big hugs xx
