Not been given any shoulder exercises!  And not sure I'd be able to do them anyway, as my underarm is still sore; the small incision for lymph node sampling has been really uncomfortable, for some unknown reason.  xx

, the lymph node biopsy site often seems more sore than even a full mastectomy for some reason! Not sure why…..but di try snd keep your shoulder moving; there’s a great site called breast cancer care which you can look up, they do a whole booklet on shoulder exercises, what you should do every day and what you can do at different stages. Might be worth checking out. I didn’t think I had a booklet but when I checked through my paperwork it was there!

Ah, thanks Moomy.  I thought it was just me!  The main incision hasn't given me any problem, but the underarm one has been prickly, twinge-y, itchy & sore.  But I've been using my arm pretty much as usual - just not over-stretching or lifting anything too heavy. 

Absolutely! I had the sentinel node biopsy about 2-3 weeks before my mx, as it looked as if nodes were clear (they were) and dreaded the mx because the biopsy was so prickly and sore, but I got reassured that this was so too!
