Hi all
Really hope your all well
Tonight I bought a lottery ticket
I do not need anything
After having to wait for 18 days to attend the breast clinic
And I am so grateful that I was ok
My heart goes out to all women and men waiting and worrying
If by some miracle I win
The money goes so that we dont have to wait worry
and anymore
You are so right found my lump 2/6/21 saw surgeon 26/6/21 mastectomy due 2/8/21
This is too long a wait. The hospital team say two months is a short time and cancer won't grow much in that time and I believe them but I still feel very uncomfortable with the two months wait. its affecting my mental health . Its not the fault of the Medical team and I know they all do private work I don't even mind that they do that . My concern is with the Welsh assembly and Boris who controls the NHS funding its just too little money too few staff and not enough facilities it needs to change but I haven't a clue how to accomplish that?
The NHS is one of our parents and grandparents greatest achievments and should be protected as such .
I'm so sorry that you are going through this
You are right
It really affected my mental health
I was so very scared
The Hospital where brilliant when I had my appointment
But we need womens clinics
Faster diagnosis
We all have families
And we all should not have to count down the days
Xxx
