Hi I know there’s a radiotherapy thread but I wondered if anyone had had a strong reaction to their first radiotherapy session?

im having the 5 day one with 4 days of boosts. The first one was yesterday and I came away totally floored with exhaustion. I woke up today feeling nauseous and can hardly keep my eyes open. Really didn’t expect this to hit so quickly.

Anyone else been the same?

Hi I had five days as well and finished on the 19th July and I was exhausted!! Still a bit more tired than usual but getting better. Hope you’re ok X

Thanks Honey1810 had my second one yesterday and it weirdly wasn’t as bad as the first. My body seems to react strongly to the first treatment, was the same with first EC and first docetaxel. Can’t imagine he tiredness after five sessions in a row next week but it’s reassuring to hear you had a similar experience but getting better now. All the best x
