Hi guys

did anyone else experience tinnitus during or after chemo.

thanks

  • Hi . Not from this group, but did suffer with chemo induced tinnitus. I know how annoying it can be. Had an ENT appointment and hearing test, but they said nothing can be done for tinnitus. Thankfully it gradually faded after a couple of months and all ok now. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • I think that chemo takes a while to clear, and might leave things altered that were unaware of.  Interestingly I have tinnitus now after covid and the vaccines, as does a work colleague after covid,  who also had breast cancer,  chemo and hormone blockers,  but years ago...!

  • Hi there, I have tinnitus too but I thought it was from the Covid vaccine. I’m wondering if it has been caused by chemo and the vaccine has exacerbated it.

I didn’t know chemo can give you tinnitus but after chemo ended I found a few articles online that said it can.  Just a shame I didn’t know cos apparently if I had mentioned it then they could have reduced dose of chemo.

    thanks for your reply.
