I got elbowed in my breast on Saturday

On Monday it was sore and I found a large lump behind my nipple it's very painful

I went to the doctors and I have a appointment at the hospital this week

But I'm so scared

  • Hi it’s quite normal to feel scared when you’ve found a lump, but you have done the right thing and gone to the doctor straight away to get it checked and hopefully it will turn out to be nothing. But if it is something else then we are all here to support you and help in any way that we can.

Let us know how you get on

    Bug hugs

  • You are doing the right thing getting this checked I had a wart grow on my left breast and asked for a mammogram. I’m 53 and was still waiting for my first mammogram. That wart and me putting pressuHibiscus on got me a mammogram and it lead to them seeing an 8mm tumour at the back of my left breast. Only a very small amount turn out to be anything to worry about so please try not to worry although I kHibiscusw it’s really hard. I though am so pleased I didn’t give up and believe the wart was a sign to me. It went black and fell off two weeks after surgery. Sending hugs and wishing you a good outcome XHibiscusHibiscusHibiscusHeart️Lisa

    Hi Diane

Thank you for your kind words

Yesterday my whole breast got very inflamed and red and after a call to 111 ended up at A&E

They think I've got a bad infection and have prescribed me strong antibiotics

Because of the pain they say it's very doubtful it will be anything else but to keep my appointment next week to be sure

Trying to feel more positive but still worrying

    Xxxx

  • Hi, I’m so sorry to hear you ended up in A&E, but good that they’ve given you antibiotics. Definitely keep your appointment because even if it’s not C then they might be able to tell you what it is and at least then put your mind at rest.

It’s very hard not to worry, but you’ll be in the best hands possible.

Good luck in the hospital, hope all goes well.
