I have had treatment five of six but only second of docetexal. It has left my face and neck very red this time. First one just left me with redness across nose. Does anyone have any tips for calming it down.
Hi Nljw,
I really suffered with skin issues and Docetexal. My GP was brilliant and prescribed several different creams to try and help but it still took its time to clear up.
Try Aveeno I found that to be good or an after sun cream
Wishing you all the best for the rest of your treatment
xx
Dear
I had a red face but I was told it was due to the steroids . I made sure I drank 3 litres of water for at least 4 days after Chemo . I found water was a great source of comfort by keeping me hydrated.
I also got very red one day and we put it down to me chatting to a neighbour at the door at 8.30 at night . So make sure you use at least factor 50 - apply after your shower every day and reapply regularly but best to cover up and stay out of the sun .
best wishes
