Hi all - I am new to this forum. I had a grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma in 2017 with op and 6 weeks radiation treatment. I have in dec 2020 been diagnosed with grade 3 tumour on other side and had op and radiation. My mind has been like a yo-yo as I’ve never fully recovered the first time from pain, swelling and fatigue. Rib pain started last year March which is so debilitating and am now finding that painkillers prescribed from pain clinic dr aren’t doing the trick anymore. I am trying acupuncture but if any of you ladies are in a similar situation any help would be great.xx
Just saying 'hello.' I'm sorry you've had such a rough time. I'm afraid the aches and pains do go on for a while as does the fatigue but I remember thinking a few months back there are less now and my fatigue is linked to another issue. My cancer was in 2015 and has so far been clear so don't despair yet. Having a second tumour removed will certainly have increased the recovery time but how lucky the second tumour was found. Hopefully you now finished with treatment.
Take care. Karen
