Hi all. Having recently been diagnosed with TNBC at age 38, I start chemo on the 12 July with 12 x weekly taxol and carboplatin each 3rd week, then followed by 3 x 3 weekly FEC.
I am struggling at the moment trying to determine how bad I will suffer on chemo. I am currently otherwise fit and healthy
prior to the diagnosis, my partner and I also decided to buy a house together.
Is it possible to move house during chemo? Does anyone have any experience of this? just wondering if I will be too tired or Sick, however I hope the weekly taxol will be milder as it’s a lower dose.
thanks
sarah
Hello
I moved house during chemo. I was on my second cycle of FEC-t. Just be organised and get your bed made up before anything else and then rest if you need to. The boxes can wait.
Hope this helps.

Of course, you can move around during chemotherapy, but you have to distribute your forces correctly. The body will gradually weaken, and you can overload yourself, leading to even more fatigue and stress. Be sure to ask someone to help, and don't carry heavy boxes. I advise you to contact a moving company https://acelinemoving.com. It is much better to entrust the collection of things and transportation to a specialist so as not to strain your business and finish the moving process as quickly as possible. I hope that your friend will be there all this time and will help if anything happens.
