Hi all. Just a wee update. Had my surgery, masectomy on tuesday. Feeling good. Staff at hosptial were fabby. Go back to breaat clinic in 2 weeks to find out the next plan of action.
I had a mastectomy in August 2019 followed by chemo FEC and T. Not nice, but we can get through it and surprisingly you think it’s a never ending dark tunnel to navigate through, but suddenly you are out the other side and it’s all receding fast, so good luck with it all. I’m sure everyone on here will give advice if you need it. Keep smiling.
I now need a mastectomy on 24th june because not got clear margins from lumpectomy.... I'm 4 weeks post lumpectomy and feel fine so hoping mastectomy is as good!!
Hi. All. Its been 5 weeks since my masectomy and healing very well. I had to get fluid drained at my 2 weeks appt. I start my chemo on the 8th june for 4 months. All the best to everyone.
