Anyone get red itchy skin around eyes and eyelids on Anastrozole?
thank you
Hi
I'm on Anastrozole, but not experienced this. However, I wonder if this is to due to the natural skin aging that comes with reduced oestrogen. As the Anastrozole is speeding up this process dramatically, it might be causing this. I never bothered with creams on my face before, but now I use an Aloe Vera cream, especially around my eyes as I have noticed that my skin is dryer.
Hopefully someone else can pop on and offer more advice for you.
Best wishes, Lesley
Hi, I'm on Anastrozole and now my whole face itches plus the slight rosacea I had has gotten worse. I'm nearly 63 and love my makeup ( I have and always have had low esteem issues) but nothing helps so far, even moisturisers etc that are free of everything!!!
I'm just about to start yet another search, if I find anything I'll let you know.
Hi lesleyhelen and Afon
Have you tried a different brand of Anastrozole? Your itchy-ness etc may be a reaction to a certain filler. Different manufacturer will use different, or different combination, of fillers and it could be you are reacting to that, rather than the drug itself.
If you want to try a different brand, maybe call/phone different pharmacies in your area to see what brands they have in stock/can get for you
Good luck. I hope you find a solution
Thanks for the heads up ChocDrop, I didn't realise there were different brands
