Hi,

Dont know if anyone else has experienced this. 8 weeks on from a mystectamy and implant i have noticed that there is a 'dip' in the skin just diagonally from the implant and the shape of the implant can be seen here. Sending myself mad with worry. Have another appointment with the surgeon but not for three weeks.

I’m sorry I don’t know, I am awaiting surgery. When I saw my surgeon he mentioned that it might be possible to see the edge of the implant as I’m quite slim. Could it be that? Are you in any pain? Can you call Macmillan nurse for a chat?

Did your surgeon say there was anything that can be done to correct this?

Not really just that it was a possibility....I’d need to put on weight probably! Hope it is all ok x
