Hi , just wanted to say YES! It’s not unusual to wake up feeling all kinds of emotions. Best advice I can give is just allow them to ‘happen’! Feel how you need to feel. Shout, Scream, Rant or Cry, whatever your body needs to do!your head won’t necessarily know why, but letting feelings and emotions flow is far better than bottling them up!
Just wanted to add. If you ever find yourself awake again and you want someone to chat with, day or night in fact. Then there’s already a thread called AWAKE that you will see ‘locked’ at the top of the chat section. We talk day and night about all sorts of things. Sometimes serious, other times just say to say stuff and believe it or not we sometimes even have a LAUGH!!
Feel free to take a look. Hope you feel a bit less angry as the day goes on. Although anyone dealing with Cancer has every right to feel angry! I’m years into diagnosis and I get very angry some days. Most difficult thing I find is that there’s nothing I can be angry at? If that makes sense! I just want to punch and kick this disease (although I’m not an aggressive person) but HOW?
Sending my Best Wishes your way. Sal xx
Hi Sal,
Thank you so much for your reply and taking the time to do so. Really means a lot. I feel better for knowing it's normal and I'm not just an angry person now! So thank you for sharing that with me. I will also try to find the group you mentioned.. I'm just finding it a little difficult navigating this forum haha! I hope you're having a good day and not feeling too rubbish today.
Sending you big hugs back.
Em Xxxx
