Hi there my lovelies

i have just finished an 18 week course of chemotherapy after having a mastectomy and full lymph node removal in August. I was given 9 weeks of EC and then 9 weekly treatments of Paclitaxel .

I finished treatment one week ago and since then there has been a gradual build up of extreme pain in all the bones in my body. I have never known pain like it, it’s agony. I also have horrible waPray tone1retention in my lower legs, along with my asthma being much worse. So sorry to moan but I just wondered has anyone else experienced any or all of these symptoms when their chemotherapy finished plPray tone1? I did experience some occasional bone pain during treatment but nothing like I am now. Also I had two 999 asthma attacks which my oncologist said were due to the chemotherapy. I would have thougPray tone1he symptoms/effects of treatment should get better now I’ve finished not worse? Any help or advice would be gratefully received thank you so much  Pray tone1Two hearts

I had 3 weeks of EC and 12 weeks of paclitaxel I can’t say I had extreme pain but definitely had pain and discomfort especially in my joints some days I couldn’t get up out of a chair without assistance also water retention in my feet and ankles it is different for everyone but these seem to be fairly common side effects however if in a lot of pain I would definitely recommend that you contact oncology and not wait until your next scheduled call I finished treatment last November and 2 months on things have settled and improved I’m finding movement easier and less painful unfortunately it is a long old road to recovery and it can’t be rushed  I hope this has been helpful xx
