Hi,  I was diagnosed with breast cancer 8 years ago and had double mastectomy.   Four years ago I got diagnosed with secondary in my spine.  It lay there for nearly four years with no growth.    Scan results have shown it has green but not gone anywhere else.   Still contained in the bone.   There is a meeting on 11th where they will discuss my case abs decide if I need radiotherapy which I’ve nit had before.    I’m scared as this is the first time it’s grown.   It may be that it stops again or am I just kidding myself?    Anybody else had similar ?     Andrea x

Hi Andrea. I was diagnosed with primary and secondary in the bones. It was 3 years until my first sign of spread but is now controlled with oral chemo which I fortunately tolerate very well. I haven't had any chemo or radio so just wanted to let you know that they may not give you radio. Try not to worry too much until they actually decide on your treatment plan.  I'm sure someone else will be along shortly who can help with radio questions.  Stay strong and best wishes. Sue x
