Hello fellow shielders! Has anybody been offered the vaccination yet?

A few weeks ago my GP told me I was on the shielding list and would get a call for a vaccine appt within a week or so.  But their website says they’ve now delayed contacting groups 3&4 as they’ve been struggling with supplies in order to complete the over 80s so I guess it’s going to take a little while longer for me but in theory we should be done by mid-Feb if Boris is to be believed!

I hope you manage to get yours done before your surgery and that it all goes well.

We are in Wales and my hubby been on shielding list since last March.  He's 59 and not been called for vaccine.   Family over 80 have has vaccine and a 77 year called fir their vaccine this week .

In NE hubby group 75 I'm shielded no invites yet .

It looks like they’re working through the categories pretty quickly. I just got my hopes up last week when Boris announced they were starting to contact groups 3 and 4.

I've just been called this afternoon for an appointment on Friday.  I've got to have bloods done on Wednesday, but hopefully they'll be ok and I can have the vaccine.  I'm very excited to have it!

Hope you’re all managing to stay cosy ? Though my hot flushes are keeping me roasting  

My oncologist told me it would likey be June before I hear anything though my Breast Cancer Nurse has said April. I’m in Scotland so I have a feeling it’s going to be later rather than sooner .

My hubby age 59 and in shielding group had call today from GP to get his jab tomorrow!!!
