I have been suffering breast pain since November 2020 saw gp who was not concerned. I have also been having pain in the same side shoulder blade. 2 days ago I have noticed an indentation on the same side and have now been referred to breast clinic. I had a mammogram in Feb 2020 which was all clear
Hi and a warm welcome to the forum. Sorry you’ve had a worrying few months, but good that you have a referral so they can find out what’s going on. Have you a date yet for the breast clinic? It’s a horrible time, waiting for appointments, waiting for results. But soon you’ll know what you’re dealing with. It’s great you’ve found your way here, but do also bear in mind that most breast issues are not cancer. I hope your appointment will come through very soon and that you’ll find out that all is well. But if it turns out to be cancer, it will likely be very early stage as you had a clear mammogram last year. Breast cancer is very treatable these days and you’ll get lots of support here. Many thanks for replying. I am still waiting for appointment to come through hopefully not too long. I have tried to find anyone that has had breast discomfort and indentation on the same breast on this site ? Hope you continue to do well on your journey x
