He said I’ve really early pre cancer
anxiety had always made my life hard now it’s making me really tired
Hello Lucy, I was the same straight after my diagnosis, I ached from head to toe and my shoulders were like rocks. Four weeks on, I have been reassured it is breast cancer and they are not looking anywhere else. I put my pain down to a bit of stress and probably holding my self in a tense position, and off course not sleeping very well. Cancer grows slowly over many months and years so try not to worry especially as you have been told it’s very early stage.. Have you a BCN who can help talk things through with you, or the nurses on this site are brilliant too. Good luck x
You will be feeling run down from the stress and aching from being tense lovely! I was exactly the same with my shoulders and whole back. I got diagnosed on xmas eve and had the exact same worries as you have, I was convinced it was all over the place ! My breast care nurse said it would be tension so I tried my best to try and relax my body more. My CT scan has just come back clear everywhere else. Do you have a nurse that you can ring?
I hope it eases off for you soon xx
Hi LuciB1,
As you see You are not alone!. I hate how the mind runs riot when diagnosed! I was talking myself into my left breast, brain, everything really was affected and was pleasently shocked when scans for my non effected breast always comes back negative. I totally agree with comments about stress. I think we become awake to every twinge and change experienced!
I agreed with myself to let the niggling thoughts go.... If problem increases of course follow up but generally I let the distressing thoughts go and refocus on what I'm great full for and enjoy doing.
Don't sit stewing get rid of it here
Much love to you ️
