Hello all,
As per my previous post, I'm currently awaiting an appointment at breast clinic for lump/thickening in my right breast.
In the mirror a couple of hours ago I noticed that on the same breast just above the problem area there was a new black spot/mole/freckle which had come seemingly from nowhere very suddenly. I showed my partner and he agreed it wasn't there previously and he had never seen it before.
On closer inspection, I then noticed an almost identical mark underneath my arm and a very similar but markedly larger one on the back of my arm just below the shoulder on the same side. All new and suddenly appeared since yesterday. I had a good look and couldn't see anything else.
Just now, a couple of hours later, after looking again, I now have the same thing further down the inside of arm, on shoulder and what looks like the beginnings of the same thing on my neck. All on the same side as the breast lump.
I'm now really freaking out as I haven't had any such sudden skin changes before. I'm worried I will wake up tomorrow morning covered in these things and am further concerned by the fact that I have lymph node pain and swelling in my underarm and neck area on this side too.
I'm praying that this is just a horribly timed coincidence of some kind. I'm also wondering whether this is something I should call the doctors and let them know as skin changes weren't part of my original examination and referral and may be important?
Any advice/information/support or response of any kind is much appreciated as I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with this on top of the existing worry.
Dear ,
Reading you post I can see you are worried and no words we say on here will help you. I think you should phone your Doctors and ask to see them or to have a video call (I think many surgery's are doing this - to keep patients safer).
I think you should see your Doctor/Video call as this could be important or it could be nothing - but staying away till your appointment comes through will only torment you even further.
or if you're still awak and stressing - it might be worth phoning 111 and seek their advise. Either way, phone your Doctor's explain it all as see what they think.
I'm sorry I can't help more xxxx
