Hi ladies am 6 years post and I now have aching in joints got pain when I walk or stand for sometime at back of lung but remember doctor at radiotherapy told me yrs ago that you could experience that with radio after mx hope this makes it through x
Hi Have you always had pain while walking/standing? Or is this new? If it’s something that is new then I definitely think it’s something that you should get checked out! Any NEW symptoms should be checked out by someone, don’t just assume it’s a side effect from the tamoxifen, although of course it could be!
I don’t want to scare you by saying that, but I don’t think it’s something you should ignore and nobody should be living with that amount of pain anyway!
So my advice if this has been ongoing, would be. Speak to your GP who will likely send you for an X-ray. Or speak to your BCN if you are still in contact with one!
Fingers crossed if it is the tamoxifen they might be able to move you on to a different drug! But you need to get checked out....but I think you know that!
Take care Hun. Always here to listen. Sal xxx
