Hi all Northerner,
applogies for not being around. I started back at work full time (at home of course) prior to radiotherapy. I didn’t realise how exhausted I would be with working, schooling children, radiotherapy every day for 3 weeks. Suffering with cording and lymphedema in arm and hand. Now I’m waiting on physio and lympedema clinic. On a good note I picked up my fake boob today. I have thought about you all every day and still do. I have tried to read and keep up with the posts but have to admit I would fall asleep when reading. Started infusions yesterday. Anastrazole gives me severe bone pain but hey I’m still here.
Hi
Nice to hear from you again .So you thought you were Wonder Women did you ? Think we all had to learn the hard way . I was just starting to lose chemo weight and starting to feel fit when Covid hit ..getting so sick of being tired and unfit .
So got your boob hole she behaves as well as my Clarissa lol The nurse doing my first year mammo on Monday thought I'd had reconstruction she was disconcerted when boob came off with blouse
Seriously I've been wearing her since Sept/oct Six weeks after Mx . Don't notice her any more .
Get some rest and don't exhaust yourself . School on holiday now do that should help .
take care

Northerner thank you for your reply. Other than you feeling tired and unfit I hope everything else is ok. I’m trying to put the weight on as I lost it. I’m tired of bone pain especially in the night when I wake and can’t move because I am so stiff including my hands, no grasp.
i do hope my new addition is good as Clarissa lol. Is it a year after diagnosis that you have a mammogram as I haven’t heard anything but saying that I have just finished radiotherapy.
Yep last day of schooling so one less thing to do. Let’s hope they can entertain themselves with these restrictions still in place.
take care

Mammo was annual to surgery . Like a lot of people don’t think much of just getting Mammogram no check on surgery side .
Off to caravan for a couple of days can SD so much better there.
Take care
