Anyone on here in my age group (78 in August). Appointment on Wednesday, hoping for the best, fearing the worst.

Hi ,
Welcome to the group though sad you’ve needed to arrive here.....does 75 count? As that would be me, 2 years post Mx with implant, no nodes involved, HER2 negative, OR positive. So I escaped the chemo and radiotherapy bullets but not the hormone reducing bullet.
Hope things go as well as possible on Wednesday, try to keep as busy and occupied between now and then as you can, do NOT consult dr Google, out of date and full of scare stories.
If the angst keeps you awake, then try the ‘AWAKE...’ thread, you need to be a little loopy, it has light hearted banter, the occasional puzzle, but heartfelt posts too, there are often folk post in any of the 24 hours so there’s often someone around to answer you.
Sending hugs xxx
ps, it can be helpful to pop a bit of info in your profile, doesn’t have to be much.....click on user name, then ‘edit my profile’, type away then click ‘save’ when you’re done. xxx
