Hi all.
Got an appointment with oncology on fridsy morning to discuss treatment.
Breast care nurse then called to say my onco dx result was 43 so im definitely having chemo.
Ive cried but now pulled my big girl knickers up and going to take my anger out on the housework.
Does anyone have any helpful tips please ?
Im having 6 sessions of fec-t
Hi
I'd suggest going onto the monthly chemo thread as there's a link in the opening post to a really extensive top-tip list which will serve you well.
Just one recommendation from a tight northerner - don't go overboard getting too much stuff "just in case" as I did and still have items that I didn't actually need.
Hope your house is super gleaming now and that your chemo is kind as mine was. Good luck.
Sam
Thank you will have a look at the group now xx
Hi
My story on profile just click on my name and you can have a read if you haven't already fill yours in it helps when replying
I agree with Yorkshire_defector besides being a tight northerner myself I wouldn't dare disagree ( she loves a good fight )
i would add that what you do buy doesn't have to be expensive for shower a lot use 100% paraben free Dove keeps skin nicely moisturised . Chemo dehydrates inside and out so one other thing I found handy was a water bottle went everywhere with me so I could top up fluid all the time .
you sound like you getting a handle on what's going on but any questions just ask on any thread and someone will have an answer .
Both Yorkshire_defector and myself got thru it and so will you .
