Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well!
Just wondering if anyone has been able to buy a softie anywhere...large size 9/10? Amoena have no stock and aren’t replying to any messages so wondered if there were other stockists or something equally good on the market out there! Thanks in advance. x
Oh dear, I've just bought a swimsuit in thr sale and 2 breast forms after taking a look lol. Lots of bargains in swimwear if anyone is interested. X
West End Girl and everyone,
Just to say I got help from Nicola Jane re a prosthetic. I just couldn’t get the softie to line up with the other boob in spite of trying lots of taking out and replacing the filling. I was told the usual prosthetic clinic was cancelled for now and they didn’t know when it would be reinstated. So one day I phoned NJ to explain my dilemma and she recommended a breast form for my size. Think it was a tri leisure one that later can be used for swimming. The others were very expensive and I didn’t want to risk them till I knew my size. When it arrived very promptly I felt it was too large - I had a Brigitte Bardot boob and an old 60 year old one. So again I phoned and she offered to send me the two sizes below to try. I had to pay for them all but then was refunded ok. It was good to be able to try them on and compare. Just as well my OH is understanding !!
Anyway I kept one and it does give a better shape than a softie. It is a bit heavier and as my skin has not completely settled after rads and the fact I haven’t been out much I haven’t worn it a lot. I have found though I need quite a supportive bra as it’s the same problem. The falsie is nice and pert and mine is a bit droopy which I hadn’t really appreciated till now !! So I find the Asda bras are ok but still looking forward to getting a proper fitting.
Bramble - when the BC nurse gave me the original softie she said just to let her know if I needed another one.
Best of luck
