Help so scared of my mastectomy surgery panic attacks shaking and nausea
Whoa! First things first ....breathe .!
Hi
Welcome to the group ..I know you don't want to be here but it is the best place to be at the moment . My story is on my profile have a read just click on my name .
This is the place where you can talk freely about all your feelings and ask as many questions as you want and get answers from people who know exactly how you feel .
We've all been on that roller coaster ....can you tell us a little bit more about your diagnosis and op .
Believe me I know about that panic I only had 8 days from diagnosis to masectomy . In fact I was in the middle of that panic now exactly a year ago this week decision made On Tuesday for op. on Thursday .
Also believe me when I say by the morning of the op I was calm .....knowing that I was getting rid of cancer .
The op itself is not as bad as your imagination makes out most people are surprised at how well they feel . Discomfort rather than pain I was told and for me that was correct .
Since then been thru chemo and now on preventative belts and braces treatment .
Proof it's doable you do get thru this .
Please keep posting lots of help on here .. stay away from dr google he's usually wrong and tells horror stories
