Hi everyone,
It has been 11 weeks since my mastectomy and have just started Couch to 5k today, on my own too.
I was on week 3 when I was diagnosed and gave it up to concentrate on getting better. I am really proud of myself for restarting. It is hard, but feel I need to get fitter to help me stay well.
Be positive everyone, it really helps.

Good stuff! Its really easy to fall into the trap of not looking after yourself after going through such a s*****y time so I congratulate you, I don't have to tell you that you'll feel so much better by exercising, I certainly do.
Let us know how you get on, my father helpfully informed me some time ago that I didn't have the body for running (!!) so won't be joining you and will stick to the cycling instead.
Also an added bonus that you can eat tonnes (I am a glutton by nature) and you won't need to queue to get into shops/await on line deliveries as your wardrobe will still fit...its surely a win-win?
Sam
Hi Sam,
I defo am not built for running either, but just giving it a go steadily though.
Also walking loads is definitely great for your wellbeing.
I love my food too, I either eat like there's no tomorrow or am very good. This week I am going to be good, hopefully haha.
Keep cycling and enjoy the lovely weather.
Stay safe and keep in touch.
