Supporting my friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the start of lockdown. Shes had a lumpectomy and first dose of epirubicin and cyclophosphamide. She has now started a very heavy period after nothing for months. Is this likely to be related to the chemo or is this coincidental? She is 55 and pre menopausal according to her blood test. She is very scared and I have directed her to her breast care nurse for support.
Thanks , will remind her to mention it to her BCN. She is due her 2nd chemo this Friday all being well.
