Hi everyone
i was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal cancer at the end of February. I have a 20mm tumour.
I have been taking hormone therapy for almost 4 months now (Zoladex and Anastrozole) and my tumour has shrunk 2mm.
I have a call with my consultant next week and I really want to get the surgery done now.
the idea was to shrink the tumour before surgery but now I just want it gone and I want to feel like I am getting somewhere. It’s getting harder knowing I have this inside of my body.
Has anyone been through something similar or could give me any advice as to how I can approach my consultant?
Thanks in advance x
Hi
I don't have the experience you're after, having had a different type of cancer to you, but I noticed that your post had gone unanswered. This could be because it's slipped down the page before someone with the right experience has seen it. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the page where it'll be more easily seen.
All the best with whatever you decide to do
