Well another biopsy done now to wait for results, the doctor who did said even though the last biopsy was benign he is still very worried. I had two lumps checked 2 marker clips put in. Thank you to everyone who has wished me well, and helped me through the last few weeks xxxx
It's good they are checking thoroughly. Be prepared that even if they also comeback benign that they recheck you in 6/12 months. It's great that they are not just saying "oh well off you go" and missing something. If and I say if, it is not benign they have caught early and it's very treatable. Went I had my surgery (WLE also called lumpectomy) there was a lady in bed next to me having an area removed which had tested as benign but the doctor didn't like the look of it on scans and thought it better out. I believe that was the end of her treatment and it was benign but not quite right (I heard through a work colleague as it turned out we worked for same local authority).
I asked for my benign area to be removed too as one area came back benign. Told no need but they did! I had peace of mind then.
