Hello everyone,

i was diagnosed with 3 grade 2 stage triple positive breast cancer in end of February, it was huge shock like for everyone i suppose:( no family history, i didn’t “hit” any high risk factors and was fit and “healthy” so i was kind of dismissed in the beginning as overreacting and a bit to emotional Sob until results come back:( so yeah... know i am already after mastectomy and first round of FEC chemo just trying to find a something to keep me going... As a foreigner in here i have no Family around and because of Corona no ways for them to come just for a visit and as a shielding person i didn’t have proper contact with friends and colleagues seems like forever.. is difficult for all and i know that, but maybe someone out there feels the same and fights similar battle, because who knows the best what you feel like the person who feels the same Slight smile

sorry for long post and any writing  mistakes i made

Hi Shaz, hang in there. I had triple negative bc, diagnosed back in Feb2020 just as covid was hitting us. Its already a scary and difficult situation to be in without the added stress, anxiety and segregation that covid has given us.

I found the FEC chemo the worst personally and the docetaxel not just as hard hitting but I was told most people find its the other way round but we are all different and will react differently. I always found the worst thing was waiting. Waiting for results, waiting for the treatment to commence, waiting for surgery, radiotherapy as I can honestly say there is nothing as bad as what your mind makes it out to be. Don't get me wrong, its tough but you can do it Renata and you are doing it so give yourself allot of credit for that. Not only are you getting through the treatment but you are doing without the usual support that you would get from family and friends due to this bloody corona virus.

I had 6 rounds of chemo (4 pre and 2 post surgery), then surgery to remove the lump, followed by 15 rounds of radiotherapy. Its amazing what your body and mind can overcome and you can Renata. Just keep talking, asking questions, telling doctors, nurses about any and all concerns even if it seems insignificant. Peace of mind is worth it.
