Hello

I had an infusion of herceptin and perjeta last Monday and I feel as though I have been run over. It's the first one without docetaxel. I know it takes it out of you having chemo but I thought just having H and P I wouldnt feel quite as bad. Has anyone else felt this way? I'm going thru alot at home regards marriage breakdown so that's making me tense plus looming surgery. Feeling very down

Hi Julie,

I haven’t started the Herceptin yet, will do in the next couple of weeks. It doesn’t sound like you are dealing with a lot due to your illness but on top of that your marriage breakdown.

what surgery are you due to have? I had a mastectomy Beaty 4 weeks ago and it was much easier than I thought it would be if that helps? Xx

Hello

Thanks for your reply. I haven't ached today. I've kept active. I think it is a side effect but apart from that I'm ok. I have a her2 positive 2cm lump and some lymph nodes involved so I'm having lumpectomy and nodes clearance. How are you getting on?
