Hi I am nearly 3 weeks post op and soon to be having chemo I keep getting shivers for a few seconds lots of times a day is this normal As I had 5 lymph nodes removed that were clear.
Hello ,
A few things to consider....
How is the operation site looking?
Do you have any red or hot areas? This could be a sign of infection, and, I can't help but wonder if you shivers come with infections.
Personally, you should give your BCN a call and let her know and see what she says. I think in the 'normal' healing processes before any other treatments, I shouldn't think you would have shivers, unless you have started taking letrozole or tamoxifen - then maybe this could be a side effect from this.
Personally, please give you BCN a phone call.
