4 weeks post mastectomy and I have received a letter from my Oncologist for a telephone consultation on 24th April (6 weeks post surgery). No appointments are being given to see her, just telephone appointments. Just thought this may be of help to some of you awaiting the next stage of your treatment.

Hi,
live just had a call from my BCN with my first oncology appointment’ it’s for 20 April, I am HER2+ERnegative, 1/18 nodes affected lumpectomy on 24/03/20 and residual tissue removed with axillary clearance on 24/03/20.
Im to have a “discussion with the oncologist” pros and cons of chemotherapy being weighed against Covid 19, I’m 67 and in good health other than my little issue with BC. Radiotherapy is a given of course, but what a dilemma.
Another sleepless night, When I go back to work I think I’ll request night shifts lol.
i live in South Wales and I’m having a face to face appointment (so far)
Have as good an Easter Weekend as you can.
Stay Safe all
