Has anyone had a similar chemo to me? If so please can you tell me how did it effect you. I’ve just had my first chemo last Monday & still recovering from the side effects

  • Hi

my story on my profile just click on my name .

I was on EC x6 we all react differently to chemo but in general with EC you should start to feel a bit better by day 10 treatment is day 1 . Then continue to improve by day 15 I would plan for some treats and days out.

The Side effects vary but include nausea if you vomit let your team know and fatigue .

Start to use a mouth wash as you could get mouth ulcers ,also drink plenty and moisture.

There are a lot of tips on the March 2020 chemo page . There is a link on first page .

Also lots of people on the thread that are getting chemo now so a good thread for you to join .

    take care
