Hello Fruit Loops,
I wondered about opening this post, and, it might help us. Many of us have gone through so much over the years, months and weeks and others are just starting out on this journey. We are always about to offer help, guidance and a beacon of light to all going though or just starting out on this joinery. I can remember my still, how I came to this Forum in total despair and between you all you pulled me up and got me through this.
With so much going on with this Coronavirus, I wondered if this post could be a place we could find some comfort, where people can offer Prayers, Blessing, Guidance, Good Will Wishes - for everyone - regardless of what religion or none. A place for us to not feel along, where we can share tips on getting by from day to day and to offer mental strength to anyone needing it - knowing 'we are not alone - we are all in this together'.
I will start:
Today I read that one of our own Snowys Mum is working actually along side patients that have Covid-19. Snowys Mum aka Helen has offered so much support and strength to me over the past few years and I would now like to offer my Prayers to Helen. I am not a person that knows what to say in Prayers other than my own words.
Dear Lord our Father,
I ask you to please look down and shield our dear friend Helen and protect her from the Coronavirus.
Please dear Lord keep Helen and all Doctors, Nurses, Care-workers, Cleaners, Cooks, Police, the Fire Service, please keep them all Safe and in your protection during this time.
Please dear Lord we ask that we are able to stop this virus, to find a cure, a vaccine and treatment to stop this. To bring an end to so many tragic, tragic deaths.
I have found this Prayer on the internet that I would like to share....
Pray for medical professionals, caregivers, and researchers responsible for fighting the new coronavirus.
God, as more people get sick, healthcare workers and first responders are working longer hours with fewer supplies and with more risk of contracting the new coronavirus themselves. Renew their energy and sustain them on long shifts. Bring Your protection upon them as they work with patients. Multiply their supplies so they have the protective items needed to stay safe on the job.
Inspire and invigorate the research doctors developing better tests to diagnose the virus, create vaccines to prevent it, and identify protocols to eliminate the disease’s spread.
